Larry Burrow - Aleutian Islands 1945-46
 
In April 1945, Larry was transferred from the Alaska Communications System (ACS) radio station in Ketchikan, where he had been based since 1937, to Adak Island in the Aleutian Islands. In October 1945, he was transferred to Fort Glenn on Umnak Island, also in the Aleutians. Then, in January 1946, he returned to Ketchikan where his family had remained while he was in the Aleutians.
